On Kings Road heading south and leading to the Taylors Road intersection, the traffic is a nightmare.
The traffic build up here sometimes extends to Coleridge Drive, due to this congested intersection. I believe a lot of drivers are avoiding travelling from the west to the east on Taylors Road, so they find alternate routes and the impact is on other streets in close proximity.
As soon as I hit the intersection of East Esplanade and Taylors Road to head west, it’s already banked up due to the Kings Rd intersection and the change to a single lane heading further west on Taylors Road. I can sit in this traffic for 10 mins and sometimes longer. I find myself winding through back streets of Keilor Downs to get to the other end of Kings Road, close to the Melton Hwy sometimes just to avoid this bottle neck and I see a lot of cars doing the same thing.
