Taylor’s Road is becoming completely unmanageable. Every day on my way to work, I get stuck for extended periods near the intersection at Tenterfield Drive, close to Gilson College.
Meanwhile, the council continues approving large new housing developments further down the road, but the infrastructure simply isn’t keeping up. The result is a major bottleneck during peak hours that’s only getting worse.
This road urgently needs upgrading and should be declared a major state road. It’s something that should have been addressed years ago.
Not only is the congestion frustrating, but it’s also becoming dangerous. Drivers are taking risks, leading to accidents, and many are rat-running through quieter streets in Delahey and Kings Park to avoid the traffic—creating chaos and safety issues in residential areas.
This needs immediate attention before someone gets seriously hurt.
